MALBEC

2017

Malbec is the flagship grape vine of Argentina, the country with the largest Malbec area in the world. The most outstanding characteristic of Malbec is its intense dark color. The aromas of Malbec are reminiscent of cherries, strawberries or plums, raisins and black pepper, in some cases reminiscent of cooked fruits. In the mouth, Malbec is warm, soft and sweet, with tannins that are not aggressive. When it is aged in wood, as in our cellar, it acquires shades of coffee, vanilla, coffee and chocolate.

  • View

Intense ruby red with violet hues.

  • Smell

Fruity aromas with notes of fresh plum and subtle hints of clove spice.

  • Pairing

Goes well with red meats, grilled meats, hard cheeses and pasta with tomato sauce. Malbec is the great Argentine red wine to accompany beef roasts, stews, pastas with tomato and cheese sauces, and game meats. A glass of Malbec goes well with blue cheese or roquefort cubes, halved nuts and fresh Muscat grapes. They also combine Parmesan cheese, smoked cow or goat cheese and mozzarella cheese. It is ideal for accompanying desserts with chocolate.
